- Aachen, Germany

By developing a next generation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for safer and more efficient driving, the European research project interactIVe has achieved important results in its attempt to deliver accident-free traffic. In addition to this, eCoMove has successfully developed cooperative systems and applications for eco-driving, eco-logistics planning and eco-traffic management.
The results of the two projects will be jointly presented through a mix of presentations and demonstrations next 20-21 November 2013 in Aachen, Germany.

Programme overview
The conference will start on Day 1 with a plenary session and keynote speeches, followed by parallel sessions on specific aspects of both projects. The second-day conference will be dedicated to detailed technical presentations of both projects results running in two parallel streams.
A press conference will take place on 20 November in the morning, including dedicated demonstrations for journalists.
Live demonstrations of eco-driving support on the roads of Aachen will take place in the afternoon of 20 November and on 21 November all day. Moreover on 21 November, transfers to interactIVe live demonstrations of Advanced Driver Assistance functions, on Ford testing ground in Lommel (Belgium), will be organised in parallel.
A joint exhibition will also be available on both days in the Eurogress Foyer, which will give more insight into both projects specific results and systems: driving simulators, interactive ecogaming and static demonstrations of components and applications will take visitors on a comprehensive, state-of-the art, cooperative ITS experience.
A networking cocktail in the exhibition will conclude Day 1 on a festive note.
This event is free of charge.
